By downloading, installing, or using RecordLog, you agree to be bound by these Terms. You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account. RecordLog reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

RecordLog is a camera app with SHA-256 photo hashing, optional GPS tagging, capture timestamps and PDF export. It helps you capture, organise and export structured photo records for many purposes. Common uses include personal or business record-keeping, vehicles, equipment, medical documentation, plants, maintenance, work records, property, insurance records, warranty documentation and general household records.

RecordLog is not:

• A certification or professional inspection service
• A substitute for legal or professional advice
• A guarantee of accuracy or suitability
• An endorsement of claims using exported records

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account. RecordLog reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

You agree to use RecordLog legally and responsibly. You must not:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Upload harmful code, malware, or spam
• Tamper with the app
• Disrupt RecordLog’s security or performance
• Misrepresent record authenticity

RecordLog may restrict or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

You retain ownership of the photos and data captured using RecordLog. By using the App, you grant RecordLog a limited licence to process, store, and export your records solely to provide the App’s features. You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to capture and store any photos, data, or information.

You are solely responsible for the content you capture, upload, or export. RecordLog does not claim any ownership of your content.

RecordLog processes and stores data to provide core features, including capture timestamps, GPS tagging (where enabled), and exports. Some data may be stored on our servers to enable features and reliability. We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for backing up your records.

RecordLog will not sell your personal data. We will only use your data as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

RecordLog uses third-party services, including Google Firebase and platform services provided by Apple, to support authentication, cloud storage, app distribution and system features. Those services have separate terms and policies.

App Store, Google Play, and other platform providers are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with respect to your use of RecordLog.

RecordLog is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

RecordLog does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any records captured, stored, or exported using the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RecordLog and its directors, employees, and partners are not liable for any:

• Inaccurate GPS data or timestamps
• Loss or damage from use or unavailability of the App
• Reliance on exported PDFs or stored records
• Data loss from account deletion or service outages

Location data is captured using your device’s GPS at the time each photo is taken. GPS accuracy can vary depending on your device, indoor or outdoor conditions, and signal strength. Recorded coordinates may not always reflect your exact position and may not update after small movements. Date and time are recorded independently of GPS and are not affected by GPS signal availability.

RecordLog is a camera app. It does not certify, validate, or provide professional opinion on anything you photograph. For any matter requiring formal assessment or professional opinion, including legal, medical, insurance, or other matters, seek advice from a qualified professional independent of RecordLog.

RecordLog helps you create organised photo records for everyday documentation needs, including personal or business record-keeping, expense tracking, insurance records, warranty documentation, and general household records. RecordLog does not provide tax, legal, financial, or professional advice. Seek qualified advice for your circumstances.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from use of RecordLog will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
