Download RecordLog and tap Get Started on the Welcome screen. Enter your name, email address, and a password. You will receive a verification email. Tap the link inside to activate your account. You must verify your email before you can sign in. If you need to reset your password, use Forgot password? on the sign-in screen; a password-reset email will be sent.

Yes. RecordLog is a general documentation camera with optional GPS tagging, SHA-256 hashing and PDF export. Use it for personal records, objects, vehicles, equipment, plants, maintenance, work records, property and more. It documents what you capture; it does not certify or validate it.

From the Dashboard, tap +. Enter a project name, optional location, and choose whether GPS is on.

Use a clear project name, e.g. Garden-June.

RecordLog currently supports multiple projects, with up to 12 photos per project.

Tap Start Shooting to open the camera. Photos are captured in-app with metadata recorded at the shutter. Gallery imports are unavailable.

If using GPS, take photos while physically present at the location you want recorded.

Well-lit photos show detail more clearly in the final PDF copy.

After every shutter tap, the Photo Review screen appears. Add an optional title, label and note up to 50 characters. Tap Save & Next to continue shooting, or Save & Review All when you are done.

The Photo Gallery groups your photos by area. Drag to reorder within each group. Tap Edit on any photo to update its title, area label, or notes. Tap Add More Photos to return to the camera at any point.

Use consistent labels such as Garden, Vehicle exterior or Kitchen. This keeps photos organised and the PDF easy to follow.

Tap Generate PDF. RecordLog compiles the project into a structured PDF and locks it from further editing. You can then use the system sharing options to save or share the PDF.

Yes. RecordLog can save photos and create projects locally while offline. Cloud sync resumes when connectivity returns. Generating or locking a PDF requires internet.

The Camera GPS display updates as your device location changes. When GPS is enabled for the project, RecordLog obtains location again when the photo is captured.

GPS accuracy depends on signal strength, surrounding buildings, your device and nearby obstructions. Indoors or over short distances, coordinates may change only slightly.

No. Once locked, a project cannot be edited. Start a new project if you need an updated record.

RecordLog uses Google Firebase for account, project and cloud-image storage, while durable app files are also kept locally on your device. See the Privacy Policy for storage and deletion details.

RecordLog captures photos in-app to record metadata at the shutter. Gallery imports are unavailable.
