What RecordLog is
RecordLog is a camera app with optional GPS tagging, capture timestamps, SHA-256 photo hashing and PDF export.
What’s included
- SHA-256 Hashing
Each photo receives a unique SHA-256 hash to help identify changes to the file.
- Timestamps
Records the photo capture date and time so it remains available while cloud sync is pending. Capture timestamps are independent of GPS availability.
- GPS Tagging
Optional. RecordLog obtains device coordinates with each photo when GPS is enabled for the project. Accuracy varies with the device and surroundings.
- Categorisation
Group photos by category, area or section. Drag to reorder and keep each project easy to review.
- Clean PDF Export
Generate a structured, organised PDF with your photos, labels and notes, ready to save or share.
- Locked Records
Once generated, your project is locked from further edits in the app and stored in Firebase.
Who uses RecordLog
Anyone needs clear photo records with notes, including inventory, household, objects, vehicles, equipment, projects, plants, maintenance, business records, property, places, receipts, invoices and many more.
How it works
Give the record a clear name, add an optional location and choose whether GPS is on.
Use the RecordLog camera. Capture time is recorded with each photo, with GPS added when enabled and available.
Add a title, label and optional note (max 50 chars).
Review photos in the gallery, drag to reorder within each group, and correct details before generating the record.
Generate a clean, organised PDF. The project is then locked from further edits and ready to save or share.
